Re-birth of the Blog
I think its about time I dusted off this blog. It was therapeutic before when I had it. Semi-anonymous posts about my random fucked up life. So much has happened in the year since I posted, and yet its hard to believe another whole year has passed me by. When I was young, my parents told me life would speed up when I was older but I never believed them. Now I find the truly frightening thing is wondering just how fast my life will pass me by when I am even older. I once read a rather profound line on a bathroom wall that said that “Life isn’t short, its the longest thing anyone will ever do.” However, sometimes it still feels like its over way too fucking fast.
I think both of the quotes I just posted are true.. but I think the most important factor is this… life is a series of random events filled with random people. It’s what you make of those events and the relationships that develop with those people that make a life truly lived.

You know, the longer I live, the more I realize just how much of life is about timing. And also, that people will drift back into your life when you least expect it. Life is so much more random than I ever believed when I was younger.
